Shanghai to Hangzhou by Train No. G7307 (Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station - Hangzhou Railway Station) Dep 10:30 - Arr 11:42
You will make your own way to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and take your train No. G7307 departing at 10:30. (Note: if you need the transfer service, just tell our travel advisors).Your train ticket will be delivered to your appointed place days ahead of your departure.

Upon your arrival in Hangzhou, your local guide will meet you at the train station from where your tour will begin. On your way to the first stop, you can sit back and relax in the private van.

First stop is Linyin Temple. This ancient building complex with many pagodas and Buddhist grottoes was constructed in 328 AD during the Eastern Jin Dynasty to house Buddhist materials. In front of the temple is Feilai Feng (Flying Peak) which is believed that it was flew from India to Hangzhou with numerous Buddha images on it.

Six Harmonies Pagoda, The West Lake (including the Island on the lake), After you have your breakfast your guide will pick you up you in the hotel lobby to go to Six Harmonies Pagoda and West Lake.

Six Harmonies Pagoda (Liuhe Pagoda) is on the bank of the Qiantang River, which is one of the most famous rivers in China. The pagoda was built in 970 AD. Climb up to the top of the pagoda to enjoy the view if you wish. The name Six Harmonies refers to the 6 Buddhist ordinances - Harmonies of the Heaven, Earth, East, West, South and North.

Move on to West Lake where its tranquil surroundings are immediately obvious. Many willow trees line the shore and Chinese-style bridges join the jigsaw pieces. A visit to Fairy Island and Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is included and these highlight the lake. Enjoy traditional Chinese dishes in a popular local restaurant near the west Lake.


Suzhou to Shanghai by Train No. G7101 (Suzhou Railway Station) Dep 18:14 - Arr 18:39

The Grand Canal(Cruising by Motor Boat), Humble Administrators Garden, Tiger Hill, Suzhou Embrodidery Institution
The best of Suzhou starts from the Humble Administrators Garden. A classic Chinese garden, the Humble Administrators Garden is also the biggest in Suzhou and was built in 1509 during the Ming Dynasty. The focus is on water surrounded by numerous elegant pavilions, towers and tranquil walkways. Unique aspects of building are provided by the different windows and doors giving different angles from which to see the same landscape.

On to Tiger Hill which is not far from the garden. Climb to the hilltop to visit Cloud Rock Pagoda which is more than 1000 years old and also see the beautiful natural scenery. Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty visited 4 times. You will taste famous local dumplings in a local dumpling restaurant.

Later continue the trip to the Grand Canal and take a motor boat cruise, which is the most popular way to see the longest man-made waterway in the world and its picturesque lakes and many canals. You could expect to see local life along the way.
